Plans and operations
How usage is counted and what each plan includes.
What counts as an operation
An operation is one run of a General Caster recipe on one item. For example, a formula recalculated because a column changed is one operation; a barcode generated for a new item is one operation.
- Operations are counted per monday.com account and shared by all its users.
- The count restarts every month on the day your plan was activated.
- General Caster notifies you in monday.com at 90% and at 100% of the monthly operations. At 100% the recipes stop until the next period or until you upgrade.
Two "when column changes" recipes that write into each other's trigger column run forever and use up your operations in minutes. Choose the narrowest trigger and test a new workflow before going live. General Caster blocks the simplest loop: a formula cannot write into a column it reads.

Upgrade or change plan
In monday.com open Marketplace > Installed apps > General Caster > Billing. Payment and invoicing are handled by monday.com. You can change plan at any time.
The marketplace only shows plans bought through monday.com, so a plan bought on our website appears there as "Free". It is still active: the Console shows the real plan.
Check your usage
The Console shows the operations used in the current period, a forecast for the end of the period, the most active users and the plan that fits your usage.
