Currency conversion
Convert the amount of a Numbers column into another currency and write it into a second Numbers column.
When Amount EUR changes, convert it from EUR to USD and cast result to Amount USD

Set it up
- Add two Numbers columns: the amount and the converted amount.
- Add the recipe When column changes, convert currency: choose the amount column, the source currency, the target currency and the target column.
- Change an amount: the converted value appears in the target column, rounded to two decimals.
Standard plan
Currency conversion requires the Standard plan or higher. The source and target must be two different columns.
Exchange rates
Rates are refreshed every hour. A converted amount is calculated once, when the amount changes: it is not updated later when the rates move. To recalculate, change the amount again.
Using the result in a formula
The converted amount is a normal Numbers column, so you can use it in any formula, for example to add VAT: ROUND({item's Amount EUR} * 1.22, 2).
